Parent Community
Learning Continues at Home
Supporting the Whole School Community
Children move between classroom and family life every day. When the adults around them share an understanding of routines, transitions and how young children experience time, we create greater connection between school and home.
TLSS Parent Workshops give schools an opportunity to bring families into the learning conversation through practical, educator led sessions exploring time, routines, transitions and the everyday experiences that shape young children’s lives.

From the Classroom to Family Life
As an educator and a mother of three young children, I experience both sides of the conversation.
In the classroom, routines and transitions create rhythm, familiarity and opportunities for children to understand what comes next. At home, those same everyday structures can help family life feel more predictable and connected.
TLSS Parent Workshops bring together professional knowledge and the realities of raising young children, giving families practical ideas they can use within their own routines, transitions and everyday moments.
“Some of the most important learning happens in the ordinary moments we repeat every day.”
