What Parents Are Saying

“As an educational psychologist and a mother of two, I use the Countdown Calendar 4Kids in both my practice and at home. It helps children visualise time, reducing anxiety around waiting and transitions. I’ve seen a real shift. From simply waiting to confidently counting, talking about days, feeling more in control and knowing what’s coming next.”

Lucia – Educational Psychologist

“A shout out to The Little Sensory Studio for not only adding excitement to our holiday build up but also helping me manage expectations and empowering my kids to get a get a sense of when our big day was coming! The minute the last ring came off they were already thinking about the next cool thing to count down to!!”

Dana – Mom of two

“My students truly enjoy using the Countdown Calendar 4Kids in our classroom. It has become a trusted resource for building time awareness in an engaging and age-appropriate way.”

Karla – Learning Support Specialist

“Before using the Countdown Calendar 4kids, I assumed my children understood time. Paper countdowns helped us track days, but now our family actively talks about time, routines, and what’s coming next, rather than just waiting.”

Claudia – Mama

Designed by an Educator.
Developed Through Observation, Inquiry & Play

Founded by international educator and learning specialist Gabriela Nobrega Zehner, The Little Sensory Studio was created from a simple belief:

Children learn best when abstract concepts become visible, meaningful, and hands-on.

Drawing on years of experience across early childhood, elementary, and learning support settings in international schools, Gabriela combines educational practice, sensory learning, and inquiry-based exploration to create learning systems that support both children and the adults guiding them.

Today, TLSS partners with educators, specialists, school leaders, and families to support meaningful learning experiences across classrooms and homes.
